Atlassian’s data center platform has undergone the largest technical upgrade in its history this year. Although not directly visible to enterprise customers, Confluence 9.0, Jira 10.0, Bitbucket 9.0, and Bamboo 10.0 introduce several changes that enhance software security. The developer term for the family of enhanced data center software is “Data Center Platform 7”.
We in Kantega SSO have worked alongside great colleagues from Atlassian and from our fellow Marketplace App vendors across the ecosystem to reengineer our apps to ensure they will work seamlessly when our customers start upgrading their host software to the new, enhanced versions.
From today we in Kantega SSO have the pleasure to announce that our apps are compatible with the new enhanced, data center versions of Jira, Confluence and Bitbucket!
The changes impact the way that plugin-apps like Kantega SSO interact with the host software but that are not visible in the end user and admin interfaces.
Although the changes do not impact the user interface in Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket and Bamboo, they do impact how Marketplace apps communicate with the host software.
